Osborne High School is proud to celebrate significant gains in student performance on the Algebra and U.S. History End of Course Assessments. When comparing results from Winter 2024 to Winter 2025, both subjects posted double-digit increases in the percentage of students demonstrating content mastery, reflecting meaningful academic growth across departments.

In Algebra, the percent of students demonstrating mastery increased by more than 13 percentage points, while U.S. History saw an increase of over 12 percentage points. When examined year over year, these improvements represent an impressive 47–53 percent gain in performance, underscoring the depth and impact of this growth rather than just incremental change.

These outcomes are the result of intentional planning, innovative instructional practices, and a shared commitment to high expectations. Teachers collaborated closely, analyzed data, refined assessments, and implemented targeted supports to ensure students had multiple pathways to success. Just as importantly, our students were consistently reminded that high achievement is not the exception at Osborne—it is the expectation.
