For the first time in school history, Osborne High School has earned one of the highest honors in Cobb County athletics—the coveted Cobb Cup, recognizing the 2025–2026 Cobb County School District Athletic Program of the Year. The award reflects excellence across an entire year of competition, celebrating not only championships and victories but also the depth, consistency, leadership, and commitment displayed by student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs throughout the district. The Cobb Cup is determined by a variety of measures, including character development programs, Positive Athlete nominations, competitive success, Emergency Action Plan implementation, and numerous other indicators of a well-rounded athletic program. From the first contest of the fall to the final events of the spring season, Cardinal teams represented Osborne with pride, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
