- NATIONAL SCHOOL
COUNSELOR WEEK: Feb. 1-5 is National School Counselor's
Week. Thank you, Lassiter counselors, for all you do!

ATTENTION CLASS OF 2014!: Now is your time to get involved! Do you want
to be a leader? Do you want to be a part of planning fun events like
Homecoming and the Academic Pep Rally and Spring Fling and way too many
more things to list? Do you want a cool t-shirt? Well then, it's time to
apply to be a part of the Renaissance Student Leadership Team! Don't
wait too long to get started because they're due, in the front office,

- CONGRATULATION
LASSITER SWIM & DIVE: The Lassiter swim & dive team
recently won the 2010 Cobb County meet. They were crowned County
Champions for the 9th time in the past 10 years. Way to go Coach Meeden
and all team members!
- PARADE MAGAZINE
FOOTBALL ALL-AMERICANS: Lassiter's Hutson Mason was
recently selected as a
Parade All-American. Congratulations to Hutson on this honor.
- PARENT CLIMATE
SURVEYS: This Wednesday your student should bring home a
parent survey for you to complete regarding Lassiter High School. Please
take the time to complete this survey and return it to the front office
at the high school. You can also fill out the survey electronically at
the Cobb County website: www.cobbk12.org. Your opinion matters to us. Thank you for your
involvement and support.

This year's prom will be held at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, March 27.

AWARDED PLATINUM AWARD: Lassiter High School received
this award for the 2008-2009 school and was one of only 16 high schools
in the state of Georgia to receive this designation.
