Welcome to Simpson Middle
Jim Snell, Interim
Asst. Principal: Shan deNeergaard
Congratulations to Dr. Bristow. While
the Kell High School community celebrates, I am sure that the
Simpson Middle School community is saddened.
To the Simpson MS community, rest assured that Dr. Bristow has
indeed left everything in place and ready to go for next year.
I have the honor to stand in as interim for a brief period of
time as CCSD goes about the interview process. That process is
well under way and may be completed in a few short weeks.
I have been in the office the last
couple of days and will continue to oversee general operations
during the summer break. Feel free to contact me. I check
email regularly, and I will continue to be in the building
during regular office hours.
Please continue to relax and enjoy what is left of your break.
Simpson MS will enjoy yet another outstanding year and you, as
stakeholder, will play a major role in its success.
Jim Snell, Interim Principal
(PS - I retired in 2009 having served as principal at Dodgen MS
for 8 years, Floyd MS for 7 years, and Hollydale ES for 3
years. Before coming to Cobb County, I served as principal at
Adrian Elementary School and Swainsboro Middle School in Emanuel
County. I am always appreciative and honored when called upon
to serve a school community, and I look forward to working for
you these brief few days/weeks.)
