Dear Simpson Family,

I am delighted to be named your new principal!  Simpson has an excellent reputation for having a caring community and high academic achievement.  I feel truly honored to serve the students, parents, and staff of such a highly regarded community.

I come to you with thirteen years of experience as a middle school teacher and Assistant Principal from McCleskey Middle School and McClure Middle School in Cobb County respectively.  I am a native of Marietta and a graduate of Marietta High School.  I received my undergraduate degree from Furman University and earned my graduate degrees from Georgia State University.  My husband, Kevin, and I have two boys, Nicholas and George, who attend Bullard Elementary and McClure.  We live on a small farm in Kennesaw where we take in animals who need a home.   

I will be on campus on Thursday and Friday, and I look forward to meeting you on Monday! My door will always be open to you, and I will work hard with the faculty and staff to make sure each child at Simpson has the best educational experience possible this year. If you missed registration day for all students new to Simpson for this school year (not those coming from a feeder school), please come in on July 25th-27th.  The CCSD link includes all the information parents need to bring to Simpson in order to register their children. Parents or guardians may come in any time between the hours 9:00 am - 3:00 pm to register your child.
