I am excited to begin my sixth year at East Side as Assistant Principal. I am looking forward to continuing to serve all the students, staff, families and community partners at East Side this year. My career in education started over 23 years ago. As a Georgia native, my experience spans across multiple counties in Georgia to include Rockdale, Fulton and Cobb. During this time, I have had the opportunity to teach students in grades K-5.

I hold a Masters in Reading and Literacy from Walden University and earned my Specialist in Educational Leadership from Berry College. I believe all children can learn and will reach their full potential through high expectations, engaging environments and positive role models. I am excited for the 2023-2024 school year where together we will be on point with our mission to Encourage, Engage, & Empower as we support ALL students, every day! 

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling and tennis.
