Kaplan is hosting a free SAT/ACT combo practice test for
juniors and seniors:

The SAT will change this spring so our current 9th
through 11th graders are invited to take a free PSAT

Student Retention Policy
According to Cobb County School District policy, students must earn the following number of credits to be promoted:
10th grade—5 credits
11th grade—10 credits
12th grade—16 credits
Additionally, the following requirements must also be met to advance to the next grade:
grade—students must have earned one full credit each of
state required coursework in English, math, and science
grade—students must have earned two full credits each of
state required coursework in English, math, and science.
Certificate of School Enrollment Information
Certificates of School Enrollment are required to obtain both a
Georgia Learner's Permit and a Georgia Driver's License for
students under the age of 18. Certificates expire in 30 days.
Apply in the Attendance Office every Tuesday from
7:45-8:20 am. There is a $2.00 processing fee, bring exact
change. Certificates will be ready for pick-up on Friday.

Mountain great in an effort to create IMPACT through ACTION.
Students will take part in an engaging set of Leadership Labs as

Wonderlands in New Zealand and so much more! High school credits can be
earned on this trip.

work permit paperwork. Bring the GA DOL printout in person
to the main office or the attendance office.
The work permit will be completed in 24 hours from the
time it is turned in.
Effective July 1, 2015, with the
exception of minors in entertainment, work permits are no longer
required for youth age 16 and older.
