Governor’s Honors Program 2014-2015
The nomination process for the Governor’s Honors Program is
currently underway. The Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) is
a residential summer instructional program designed to provide
high-achieving and artistically talented high school students
challenging and enriching educational opportunities not usually
available during the regular school year. Rising juniors and
seniors in Georgia’s public and private high schools, as well as
students enrolled in home school, may be nominated by their
teachers. This year’s program, located at a Georgia
university, will be in session from June 21 through July 18. If the idea of spending four weeks this summer on a college
campus, studying in-depth an academic field of interest with
outstanding high school and college instructors appeals to you,
speak to one of your academic teachers as soon as possible or
swing by Room 327 to see Ms. Dye for more information. The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement provides additional
information at the GHP website:
There will be an informational meeting for students interested
