Important Yearbook Information
Today is the last day to buy the yearbook for $75.00 at
www.jostensyearbooks.com! You can also bring in a check
made out to KMHS to room 306.
The price will go up to $85.00 tomorrow – save some money and
order today! The price will be $85.00 until October 7th.
On October 8th, the price will go up to $90 until
February 10th. After this date, yearbooks will be
$100.00. This is THE best yearbook yet! Don’t miss out.
Free ACT/SAT Combo Test
Kaplan is offering a FREE SAT/ACT Combo Test on
Saturday, August 27th. Parents and students can
attend an informational meeting about the free test in the Cafeteria at 6pm on Tuesday, August 16th. After
taking the free test, students will have the option to sign-up
for a SAT or ACT prep class at KMHS to help them prepare for the
October ACT or November SAT this fall. Students can
sign-up for the SAT and ACT Prep classes now, the FREE test is
not required but it can help them determine which test is best
for them. Students will have to register for the FREE test
and the classes online. Please click on the following

Certificate of School Enrollment
Certificates of School Enrollment are required to obtain both
a Georgia Learner's Permit and a Georgia Driver's License for
students under the age of 18. Certificates expire in 30 days.
Apply in the Attendance Office every Tuesday from 7:45-8:20
am. There is a $2.00 processing fee, bring exact change.
Certificates will be ready for pick-up on Friday.

Costa Rica 2017 and Europe 2018
Just back from another amazing journey to Australia and New
Zealand with 14 amazing students this summer, Coach G has a
10-day trip to Costa Rica in 2017 (deadline to sign up is
Friday, August 26th) and a 15-day trip to Europe
(Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland) in 2018 and would love

CCSD ESOL Resource Acquisition
The Cobb County School District is conducting a needs
assessment as part of the ESOL resource adoption that is to

Class of 2017
Information regarding graduation invitations, cap and gown
orders, and the class of 2017 graduation ceremony will posted as
it is received from the Cobb County School District. Please
check the school website regularly for updates.

to find our KMHS graduation.
Students can go online to complete the
work permit paperwork. Bring the GA DOL printout in person
to the main office or the attendance office.
The work permit will be completed in 24 hours from the
time it is turned in.
Effective July 1, 2015, with the
exception of minors in entertainment, work permits are no longer
required for youth age 16 and older.
