21st-Century Program
Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program
The Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) initiative is a federally funded program that supports the creation of community learning centers offering academic enrichment and youth development opportunities during non-school hours. The program is designed to help students meet state academic standards, engage in meaningful enrichment activities, and receive extra support in a safe, structured environment. By investing in students, families, and communities, 21st CCLC promotes equitable access to high-quality learning experiences that strengthen academic performance, social skills, and long-term success.
