Hello Awtrey Families!
We are excited to invite Awtrey Middle School students to participate in the National PTA Reflections Program!
For more than 50 years, the National PTA Reflections Program has encouraged students to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts. Each year, students across the country participate by creating original works inspired by a special theme. Reflections gives students an opportunity to share their unique perspectives, talents, and ideas while being recognized for their creativity.
✨ This Year’s Theme:
“What my Culture Means to Me”
Students may enter an original work in any of the following categories:
- 💃 Dance Choreography
- 🎬 Film Production
- 📖 Literature
- 🎵 Music Composition
- 📷 Photography
- 🎨 Visual Arts — 2D or 3D
📅 Important Deadline: October 16th
Entry forms are available in the Awtrey Middle School front office or can be obtained through this link.
Physical entries: Please submit them, along with the completed entry form, to the front office.
Digital entries: Submit your entry and completed form to awtreymsptsa@gmail.com.
Please remember that all artwork must be the student's original work and follow the Reflections Program guidelines. (Click the link to learn more about each category)
We can't wait to see the creativity and talent of our Awtrey Vikings! Whether your student loves to write, draw, dance, make movies, take photographs, or create music, we hope they'll consider sharing their work with us. We will have a fun celebration and awards presentation for all those who enter and winners in each grade level and category will advance to the Tom Mathis Sr. Council level!
