Homecoming Game tonight and Dance

Good morning Campbell families,
In preparation for tonight's Homecoming varsity football game against Miller Grove and the Homecoming Dance tomorrow night, we wanted to share some information with our parents/guardians. We will also be having our first Pep Rally this afternoon!

School Safety for the Homecoming Game

Our goal is to keep all students safe, and therefore, we ask that parents communicate with your student that they are expected to leave the building at 3:45 if the student is not associated with an organization or athletic event that is performing or supporting the game. Tickets may be purchased on GoFan.    Our football games start at 7:30 PM,  and the gates open at 6:00 PM.  The games usually end at 9:30 PM. Students may not bring any kind of bag into the football game, and there is no re-entry into the game. 

For all students' safety, we need our parents' assistance with picking up their student on time. We will send a text message close to the end of the third quarter asking that parents begin to come to the school. Students are expected to be picked up no later than 45 minutes after the game ends.  Students who are not picked up at that time, will remain with our campus officer until the parent arrives. We had students waiting for their parents until after midnight at our first home football game, and we were very concerned for their safety.    Please remind your student that the same code of conduct that is expected during the school day is also expected before and after school at all athletic practices and games, clubs, fine arts, and other school events.

Homecoming Dance

The tickets for the Homecoming Dance are all sold out and the deadline was Wednesday at midnight. The dance will be held in our cafeteria and begins at 7:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM.  Please be advised that the homecoming dance is being held in the cafeteria.  Students should enter at the doors off Ward Street, by the Learning Commons.  Student Drivers- The closest parking lots are located near the softball fields, adjacent to the 2000 building, or outside of Tiger Hall.  Drop off for non-drivers is the circle between the Gwyn-McClure gym and the Learning Commons, 5265 Ward Street.  We look forward to having safe and fun celebrations with our students and staff.

• Homecoming Dance, SEPTEMBER 10TH, 7PM - 10PM IN CHS Cafeteria.  Tickets are available for purchase online only through My Payments Plus for $25.00 each.
