    Morning Exams: Arrive by 7:30

    Afternoon Exams: Arrive by 11:30

Students should arrive by the time listed for morning exams. For those testing in the Gwyn-McClure gym, please enter on the lower level close to the 3000 building. For afternoon exams, students will receive an AP Exam pass that will allow them to leave their 2nd block class in time to eat an early lunch & arrive at the test site time listed above.  Students arriving after an exam has begun, will not be allowed to take the exam!

Students may not be dismissed until an exam has officially ended; do not ask to leave early if you finish before the end of the exam. If you have a job or play a sport, it is your responsibility to inform your coach or employer of your AP Exam obligation. Afternoon exams may end after school dismissal, so please plan to provide your own transportation.

Food and drink are NOT allowed in the exam room; however, students are encouraged to bring a snack for the 10-minute monitored break between sections.

CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES/SMARTWATCHES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE TEST SITE!!!  Possession or use of an electronic communication device before testing ends, including during the break, will result in the cancellation of AP scores for that exam.

You SHOULD bring the following items to the exam room:

  • Two sharpened No. 2 pencils (with erasers) for completing multiple-choice answer sheets. Mechanical pencils are NOT allowed
  • Two pens, with black or dark blue ink only, for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions in most exams.
  • Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if they are taking an AP Biology, Calculus, Environmental Science, or Statistics Exam. You can visit apstudents.org/courses and click on the link for their course for the specific calculator policy.
