Campbell SAT Scores Climb Above 1100, Outperforming State and National Average

October 5, 2026 — Campbell High School’s Class of 2026 has another achievement to celebrate. Campbell students raised their average SAT score from 1083 to 1102, becoming one of eight Cobb high schools with averages above 1100.

The results put Campbell 71 points above Georgia’s average of 1031 and 91 points above the national average of 1011. They also place Campbell among the nine district high schools that increased their averages compared with 2025.

Crossing the 1100 mark gives the Campbell community a clear milestone to celebrate, joining Walton, Lassiter, Wheeler, Pope, Kennesaw Mountain, Harrison, and Hillgrove in exceeding that score.

Campbell students averaged 567 in evidence-based reading and writing and 536 in math, outperforming Georgia public-school averages by 42 points in reading and writing and 30 points in math, while topping the national averages by 52 and 40 points, respectively.

SAT scores can support college applications and scholarships. For students planning those next steps, the results represent one part of the academic preparation they carry with them after graduation.

Campbell's results come as Cobb maintained a district average of 1116. The SAT results include students expected to graduate in 2026. State and national comparisons are based on public school students in Georgia and nationwide, with reported averages rounded to the nearest whole number.

Congratulations to Campbell graduates and the teachers, counselors, and families who helped them reach this milestone and prepare for what comes next. Their success is another reminder of why families choose Campbell.
