The Cobb Innovation and Technology Academy proudly sent four outstanding students to the 2025 HOSA International Leadership Conference, and all four earned the honor of walking the stage in recognition of their achievements. Estephanie Valenzuela placed 6th in the Clinical Laboratory Science competition, while Selah Garret secured an impressive 5th place in the same event. Alexia Bravo showcased her skills in the Phlebotomy competition, earning a 9th-place finish. Additionally, Lillian Rogers received the prestigious HOSA Happenings Recognition Award for her contributions. Beyond competition, the conference served as a rich platform for learning, networking, and global collaboration. Attendees explored healthcare trends at the Educational Symposium, interacted with over 165 exhibitors at the Healthcare Expo, and connected with peers from around the world, including delegates from Canada, China, Puerto Rico, and South Korea. Business meetings, voting sessions, and leadership development programs like HOSA University helped shape the future of the organization. Meanwhile, social events such as “HOSA Fun Day” and award ceremonies created lasting memories. The 2025 ILC was more than just an event—it was a transformative experience where students acquired skills, formed lifelong friendships, and took bold steps toward becoming the next generation of healthcare leaders.
