Elementary School

Clarkdale carries two certifications few schools hold at once: Arts Integration Certified and STEAM Certified (March 2024). Rebuilt and reopened in 2012, the school pairs an engaged community with hands-on learning, from the NEST innovation space to a STEAM lab in every student's Specials rotation.

Arts in every subject

Clarkdale earned Arts Integration certification for weaving the arts through teaching and learning across the school.

Advanced learners served

The Target gifted program serves identified students in grades 1 through 5 with a full pull-out day each week, plus Advanced Content ELA and math classes in grades 4 and 5.

A club for every kid

Thirteen clubs for 2026-27, including Bricks for Kids, Clarkdale Network News, Junior BETA, National Elementary Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Girls on the Run, and the Dale Dancing Dolls.
