I am excited to begin my fourth year as part of the Davis Elementary family and look forward to another year filled with learning, growth, and meaningful experiences for our students, staff, and families.
With more than 22 years in education, I have been fortunate to serve in a variety of roles that have shaped my leadership philosophy and passion for student success. As an academic coach, I learned the importance of strengthening instructional foundations while embracing innovation. During my nine years as an Assistant Principal, I focused on fostering positive school cultures and supporting high-quality teaching and learning for every student. Leading Cobb’s Elementary Virtual Program for two years provided valuable opportunities to integrate technology, including CTLS, into effective instructional practices. My first three years at Davis have been incredibly rewarding, and I am grateful for all that I have learned from this amazing community. I look forward to building on that momentum as we continue to grow and achieve great things together.
I am proud to say that I am a graduate of the Cobb County School system! I know from experience that Cobb is the BEST place to teach, lead, and learn! My educational journey began at Still Elementary before transitioning to Dowell Elementary when it opened. I then attended Tapp Middle School and graduated from McEachern High School. I also stayed in Cobb County while obtaining my four degrees from Kennesaw State University. I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership, and a Specialist degree and Doctorate degree in Instructional Technology.
My husband Gavin and I have been married for 21 years. We have two rescue dogs-Kramer, our black Lab, and Lucky, our German Shepherd. They both love going for walks, swimming in creeks, and going for truck rides. As a family, we enjoy staying active, spending time near water with friends, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs during football season!
It is truly an honor to serve the Davis community. I am grateful for the partnership we share and excited for all the opportunities the 2026–2027 school year will bring. Together, we will continue creating a supportive, engaging, and successful learning environment for every student.

I'm so excited to be starting my fifth year as Assistant Principal at Davis Elementary! Davis is a truly special place, and I feel fortunate to have been part of this warm and welcoming community for the past ten years as a teacher, a parent, and an administrator.
This year also marks my 20th year in Cobb County Schools, not counting my own time here as a middle and high school student. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work at Birney Elementary and Nicholson Elementary, teaching across Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, as well as serving in support roles through the English as a Second Language (ESOL) and Early Intervention Program (EIP). I hold bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Spanish Education, a master's degree in early childhood education, a specialist's degree in educational leadership, and recently completed my doctorate in educational leadership.
Outside of school, I've been married to my husband, David, for 19 years, and we have two wonderful children, Brooke and Andrew, along with our dog, Rusty. When I'm not at Davis, you'll likely find me cheering on my kids at swim meets, walking Rusty, rooting for UGA football and the Atlanta Braves, or traveling during school breaks.
I'm looking forward to another wonderful year and to continuing to build strong, positive relationships with our students, staff, and families. Together, we will ensure that Davis remains a safe, welcoming, and engaging place where every child can learn and grow.

As I begin my fourth year as the Support and Services Administrator at Davis Elementary, I am honored to continue serving such an exceptional community of students, families, and educators. Supporting student achievement and helping every child reach their full potential remains at the heart of my work each day.
This year marks my 12th year with the Cobb County School District. Throughout my career, I have served in multiple special education roles that have provided valuable opportunities to advocate for students, collaborate with families, and support educators. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of inclusive practices and strong partnerships to create meaningful outcomes for all learners. When I am not at school, I enjoy discovering new places, reading whenever I have the chance, and browsing some of my favorite stores. I am also a proud college mom – Go Noles!
I am especially proud to have recently earned my Doctorate, an accomplishment that reflects my commitment to continuous growth and educational leadership. As a member of the Davis Elementary leadership team, I remain dedicated to supporting staff, strengthening services for students, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.
I look forward to another wonderful year at Davis Elementary and to working alongside our staff and families as we support, encourage, and celebrate the success of every student. Go Tigers!
