I am thrilled to begin my third year with the Davis Elementary family and look forward to a fun, engaging, and rewarding year of learning for all of our students!
With over 21 years of experience in education, I’ve been fortunate to serve in a variety of roles that have shaped my beliefs and leadership style. As an academic coach, I learned the value of simplifying and strengthening instructional foundations to prepare for innovation. My nine years as an Assistant Principal were centered on creating positive learning environments and supporting high-quality instruction for every student. Leading Cobb’s Elementary Virtual Program for two years gave me the opportunity to integrate technology, such as CTLS, into effective teaching practices. My first two years at Davis were a tremendous learning experience, and I’m excited to build on that foundation this year as we continue to grow together.
I am proud to say that I am a graduate of the Cobb County School system! I know from experience that Cobb is the BEST place to teach, lead, and learn! I attended Still Elementary, and transitioned to Dowell Elementary when it opened, moved on to Tapp Middle School and graduated from McEachern High School. I also stayed in Cobb County while obtaining my four degrees from Kennesaw State University. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, a master's degree in educational leadership, and a specialist degree and doctorate degree in instructional technology.
My husband Gavin and I have been married for 20 years. We have two rescue dogs-Kramer, our black Lab, and Lucky, our German Shepherd. They both love going for walks, swimming in creeks, and going for truck rides. As a family, we enjoy staying active, spending time outdoors with friends, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs during football season!
I am honored to be a part of the Davis community and can’t wait for all that the 2025–2026 school year will bring.

I am excited to begin my fourth year as Assistant Principal at Davis Elementary! Davis is a truly special place, and I feel fortunate to have been part of this supportive and caring community for the past nine years—as a teacher, a parent, and now an administrator.
This year marks my 19th year in Cobb County Schools. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in two other Cobb schools and teach a variety of grade levels, including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, as well as serve in support roles such as English as a Second Language (ESOL) and the Early Intervention Program (EIP).
I’ve been married to my husband, David, for 18 years, and we have two wonderful children, Brooke and Andrew, along with our dog, Rusty. When I’m not at Davis, you’ll likely find me at the aquatic center cheering on my kids at swim meets, walking Rusty, supporting UGA football, or traveling during school breaks.
I’m looking forward to another great year and to continuing to build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Together, we will ensure that Davis remains a safe, welcoming, and engaging place for all our students to learn and grow.

I’m thrilled to begin my third year as the Support and Services Administrator at Davis Elementary, working alongside an incredible community of dedicated educators and families. My passion lies in serving students and supporting their growth, development, and long-term success.
This school year marks my 11th year in Cobb County School District, where I’ve had the honor and privilege of working in various capacities within special education. From classroom teacher to leadership roles, every experience has deepened my commitment to inclusive practices and student-centered support.
Outside of school, I enjoy exploring the beauty of our amazing state, getting lost in a good book, and wandering the aisles of my favorite retailers. I’m also a proud college mom and love spending time with my daughter and our sweet pug.
I’m looking forward to another incredible year at Davis Elementary, partnering with staff and families to ensure every student has the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. Go Tigers!
