TMW - sponsored by Nancy Parsons and Nora Sanders

TMW (Tiger Morning Wake-Up) is a student-run school news program for 5th graders. In the broadcast lab, students learn how to use audio-visual equipment, speak to an audience, and produce a live news show. TMW students lead, problem-solve, and collaborate while having a blast!

Reading Club - sponsored by Laura Shaw

Davis Elementary 4th and 5th grade students read books from the Georgia Book Award Winners list. At our club meetings, students discuss the books, write and answer questions, and practice competing against their peers. Students will then compete against other Cobb County Schools at the Cobb Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl Competition.

Chorus - sponsored by Elise Crowe

The Davis Elementary Chorus is a fun and welcoming group of student singers in 4th and 5th grade who meet once a week to learn about music and performing. Led by Mrs. Crowe, students practice reading music, using good singing technique, and working together as a team.

Our chorus performs at several community events and local sports games throughout the year. Whether singing for our school, families, or the community, the Davis Chorus always brings energy, joy, and school pride to every performance!
