Musical Theater
Students in 3rd through 5th grade are invited to explore the exciting world of musical theater! Through singing, acting, movement, and performance, students will develop their creativity, confidence, and ability to work as part of an ensemble.
Our musical theater group teaches students important skills such as public speaking, vocal expression, stage presence, memorization, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Students will learn how to express emotions, interpret characters, work together as a cast, and bring a story to life on stage. Most importantly, students will build confidence while discovering the joy of performing and supporting one another.
Whether they are new to theater or already love being on stage, students will have the opportunity to grow as performers, teammates, and creative thinkers while preparing for exciting performances throughout the school year.
Rehearsal dates: Friday’s after school until 4:00pm in the Fall, Mondays AND Fridays after school until 4:00pm in the Spring.
Show dates: March 31st and April 1st at 6:30pm
Chorus
Students in 3rd through 5th grade are invited to join Chorus! This ensemble gives students the opportunity to develop their singing skills, explore a variety of musical styles, and experience the joy of making music together.
Through rehearsals and performances, students will strengthen vocal technique, pitch matching, rhythm, musical expression, listening skills, teamwork, and confidence. Students will learn how to sing as part of an ensemble, follow a conductor, use healthy singing techniques, and work together to create a unified sound.
Most importantly, choir provides a welcoming and encouraging environment where students can build friendships, discover their musical voices, and develop a lifelong appreciation for singing and performing. Students will have opportunities to share their hard work through exciting performances throughout the school year.
