Learning Commons Leader and MBTV Applications

Learning Commons Leader applications are now available for students in grades 2 - 5
AND
MBTV applications are available for 4th grade students interested in news production.

We are accepting applications from current 4th grade students. Applications will be accepted August 28th, 2023 through 11:59 pm on September 8th, 2023. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED and will only be taken through the form below. There are only 10 spots to fill, so this will be a very competitive process. Please take your time completing the questions.
Students will need to sign in to their Office 365 to complete the form and submit a video as part of the application. Please follow the directions on the form and parent/guardians will need to sign/type their names at the bottom of the form as an acknowledgement of the time commitment.

MBTV crew members are role models in the school and exhibit positive behavior at all times in our school community. The responsibilities of this job are to be taken seriously. You will be trained on all aspects of the job in the first few weeks and you will be expected to commit for the whole year.
New MBTV members will be announced on the news the week of September 18th.

This job is open to 2nd - 5th grade students.

You will be trained on all aspects of the job in the first few weeks on the job and will be expected to commit for the whole year.
The job of a Learning Commons Leader requires that you come to work on your assigned mornings by 7:20 to:
-shelve books,
-organize shelves,
-assist other patrons with finding books,
-book checkout and return,
-any other duties assigned by library staff.
Additionally, when your class makes visits to the library, we will expect that you assist classmates with any of the above.
