Mr. Moody is beginning his fourth year as principal at North Cobb High School. Prior to joining the administrative team, Mr. Moody served as assistant principal and athletics director at Harrison High School for five years. He taught social studies and coached football and soccer for 19 years before moving into a leadership role in the Cobb County School District. Starting his 27th year in education, Mr. Moody from Jesup, Georgia, received his bachelor of arts in history from Valdosta State University in 1992. In 2006, he completed his master's in educational leadership from Kennesaw State University, and then received a specialist degree in curriculum and instruction in 2013 from Lincoln Memorial University. He and his wife Gillian have three daughters, and they enjoy playing with their two chocolate labs, wakeboarding on the lake, going to UGA football games, and snow skiing in Colorado. They reside in Kennesaw and currently attend NorthStar Church.
Tyler Bailey, Ed.D.
Student Services Administrator (SSA)
Tyler is a product of the Cobb County School District and graduated in 2003 from Kennesaw Mountain High School. Tyler received his bachelor's degree from The University of Georgia in 2007, completed a master's degree in special education from Valdosta State University in 2010, a specialist in teaching and learning in 2012 from Demorest College, and most recently earned a doctorate degree in educational leadership in 2017 from Kennesaw State University. During Tyler’s career in education, he has taught general and special education and served as a curriculum coach. Outside of education Tyler enjoys playing tennis, running, working out, and traveling.

Mr. Bell is starting his tenth year at North Cobb and twenty-first year in education in Cobb County. He loves this community, and has lived and worked here for the last fifteen years. He has also taught at Awtrey Middle School and HAVEN Academy in Smyrna. This year, he will be serving as administrator for Freshman Academy. When not at North Cobb, he loves spending time with family. His daughter keeps him and his wife busy with dance and girl scouts, but he still finds time to watch college football and find the perfect cheeseburger.

Lexie Bultman is a North Cobb graduate and is entering her 18th year in education. Prior to administration, Mrs. Bultman taught biology and AP environmental science. She attended KSU, Berry College, and Liberty University for her bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist degrees, and she continues to look for ways to grow as a leader with her future here. Outside of school, Mrs. Bultman enjoys spending time with her family, working out, and napping.
Cassandra Dixon, Ph.D.

Dr. Cassandra Dixon is an educational leader with over 26 years of experience developing and expanding quality educational options for students in public and charter school settings. This experience extends through the levels of pre-K to higher education, including 19 years of educational leadership and supervision at the district, elementary, middle, and high school levels, and five years of teaching experience at the middle/junior high school and university levels. We are thrilled to have her on our team!
Jamie Gabel, Ed.D.
Jamie Gabel joins North Cobb High School from Lassiter High School where she served as a mathematics teacher, co-department chair, AP coordinator, and school data analysis coordinator. Prior to Lassiter, she taught middle and high school level courses at Hand Middle School in Columbia, South Carolina and at McCleskey Middle School in Cobb County. Jamie Gabel received her B.S. in middle grades education from Kennesaw State University, M.S. in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University, and her Ed.D. in school improvement from University of West Georgia. She is married to her husband David who teaches mathematics at Dodgen Middle School. David and Jamie have a ten-year old daughter named Carleigh and a eight-year old son named Ryan.

Mrs. Goodwin has been in education for over 23 years. She holds a BSE from the University of South Carolina, and furthered her studies in curriculum and instruction at Concordia University followed by her specialist degree in educational leadership from Berry College. Mrs. Goodwin began her teaching career in South Carolina before moving to Georgia in 1999. She transferred to North Cobb High School in 2005 and taught in our classrooms for ten years. She began taking on administration duties by serving on the School Improvement Committee and then joined our administrative team in 2014. Mrs. Goodwin is the mother of two children. She is very active in the Acworth community as a member of Acworth United Methodist Church, is an assistant scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 116, and is a program advisor for Crew 161 in Acworth. She loves spending time outdoors camping and visiting Walt Disney World. She is an avid fan of the University of South Carolina Gamecocks and North Cobb Warriors, and you can routinely find her attending our athletic events.
Mr. Southwell was born in Portland, Oregon, but grew up in the Atlanta area of Georgia. He has also lived in the Bronx and in Miami. He attended Oxford College of Emory University, Florida International University, Emory University, and Lincoln Memorial University. He taught for 10 years (in both regular and special education classrooms) before entering into administration. When he is not working or renovating his home, he enjoys date nights with his wife, Mitzie, and spending time with their three children: Milanie, Mia, and Karter.
Mr. Williams has been teaching for over 22 years. He currently serves North Cobb High School as athletics director. Prior to joining our administrative team, he served as department head for health and physical education, coached varsity football and girls basketball, and was the head boys golf coach. Mr. Williams completed his degrees at Georgia State University and Grand Canyon University.
