Dear Riverside Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Riverside Elementary School!

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I welcome both returning and new families to our Riverside community. As I begin my fourth year as principal of Riverside and my 23rd year in education, I continue to feel privileged to serve our students, families, and staff each day.

One of the greatest joys of being an educator is watching students learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Every year, I am inspired by the progress our students make academically, socially, and emotionally. Their achievements are a reflection of their hard work, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community. Together, we make Riverside a truly special place to learn and grow.

As proud Stallions, we are committed to fostering a positive school culture where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered. At Riverside, we encourage our students to embody our ROCK expectations each day by being: Respectful, Outstanding, Cooperative, and Kind. These core values help guide our students in the classroom, throughout the school, and beyond.

Our theme for the 2026-2027 school year is "Saddle Up for Success!" This theme reflects our commitment to preparing every student for success. Throughout the year, we will challenge our students to work hard, set goals, persevere through obstacles, and celebrate their accomplishments. We are excited to saddle up together and embark on another amazing journey of learning and growth.

I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. I encourage families to stay engaged, communicate openly, and participate in school events and activities whenever possible. Your support plays a vital role in creating meaningful experiences for our students.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I love traveling with our two children, Myles (5) and Olivia (2). I am also a huge football fan and enjoy cheering on my favorite teams throughout the season.
