Josh Bethune, Counselor

Lindsey Daniel

Josh Bethune is thrilled to be officially joining the Tritt Community full time this year. He has been a counseling intern at Tritt for the last two years, and he is eager to begin his career at Tritt. He received his BS in Psychology from Georgia State before working in behavioral health while earning a Master in School Counseling from Ohio University. Josh is passionate about helping students grow in order to achieve their goals and feel confident in themselves.

Outside of school, Josh enjoys spending time outside hiking, working out, or being active. He loves to go to Atlanta United games, or really any soccer game here in Atlanta. He travels to national parks and historic cities on breaks to see new parts of the country.

Amy Cohen, SNPK Paraprofessional

Maddie Dionne

Meet Amy Cohen, Tritt's new PreK paraprofessional and a proud East Cobb native who is thrilled to finally call Tritt Elementary her professional home. A certified teacher with a passion for education, Amy stepped away from the classroom to launch a business and pour her energy into raising her three amazing boys — but the pull of working with students never left her, and she is beyond excited to be back where she belongs.

Amy brings warmth, dedication, and a deep love for our local community to her new role.

When she's not in the building, you can find Amy sweating it out at Burn Boot Camp, exploring the local trails, or — most reliably — making her daily pilgrimage to Trader Joe's (she is, after all, fueling a household of three growing boys). She is an active, energetic presence both in and out of school, and that enthusiasm is contagious.

Amy can't wait to connect with the students, staff, and families that make Tritt such a special place. If you see her around school or around town, be sure to say hello — she'd love to meet you!
