This week is National School Bus Safety Week! We appreciate our bus drivers! Thank you for taking care of our students to and from school every day!

3rd and 5th graders will test in the mornings of 21-24. Please make sure your students are on time and fueled with a good start.
Bus Driver Appreciation
Let's celebrate our bus drivers! If your child has a moment this week to draw a picture or create a card, the bus drivers would love to see their appreciation.
🌾 Thanks for Giving Food Drive 🌾
Our annual Thanks for Giving Food Drive is underway! We’re collecting nonperishable food items to help families in need this season. Students and families can drop off donations at school now through November 5th. Let’s work together to show gratitude and make a difference in our community. Every item counts—thank you for giving!
STEM News
STEM Lab has been full of hands-on fun and discovery. Students are caring for our garden, experimenting with oobleck, and exploring the magic of magnets! Every day brings a new chance to wonder, discover, and get a little messy.

Vaughan Students Shine at District Honor Chorus
Ten talented members of the Voices of Vaughan proudly represented their school at the District XII Fifth Grade Honor Chorus, held on Thursday, October 16th at Turner Chapel AME Church in Marietta. This prestigious event united 405 fifth-grade students from across Cobb County to form a remarkable mass choir. Under the expert direction of Dr. Craig Hurley, the students delivered a beautiful and entertaining concert that captivated an audience of parents, friends, and administrators.

We’ll cover everything you need to know to make this school year a success - including general volunteer procedures, confidentiality guidelines, safety protocols, and more.
Whether you’re a returning volunteer or new to helping at Vaughan, this session is a great way to stay informed and get connected. We hope to see you there!
