Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week: May 4–May 8Now that we’re back from Spring Break, it’s the perfect time to look ahead and get excited about celebrating our amazing teachers! This is a busy time of year, so mark your calendars—we don’t want anyone to miss the chance to show our appreciation for everything they do for our children! We need your help to make this week extra special: Volunteer Opportunities: PTSA will be providing lunch for staff Monday–Wednesday, and we’re looking for volunteers to help serve and keep things running smoothly. Please consider signing up below! Gift Card Donations We’re hosting a staff auction where staff can bid on and win fun prizes. To make this a success, we’re collecting gift card donations—if you’re able to contribute, please sign up below. Night Under the Stars Vendor ApplicationThe Night Under the Stars at Vaughan Elementary School is a community-focused event designed to celebrate the arts and sciences while providing students with an opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills. The event will feature a performance by the Voices of Vaughan chorus, an Art Show where student artwork will be available for purchase, and performances from our feeder schools. Jack Vaughan, Jr. Day 2026 Friday, April 24thOn this day, all students are invited to wear their Vaughan Rocket shirts (or bright blue and silver) as we remember the birthday of our school’s namesake, Jack Vaughan, Jr. The Vaughan family graciously gives all students a rocket bracelet.
