Interesting Facts about Rocky Mount Elementary School:
Rocky Mount was built in 1978 and welcomed the first classes for the 1978-79 school year. The school celebrated its 40th Anniversary during the 2018-19 school year!
The school colors are blue and yellow.
The school mascot is a roadrunner.
There are approximately 600 students currently enrolled in Pre-K through fifth grade.
Students who graduate from Rocky Mount go on to Mabry Middle School or Simpson Middle School and Lassiter High School.
Rocky Mount has an active P.T.A. and a supportive Foundation that provide families with many ways to be involved with the school!
