Welcome to Allatoona H.S.!

House Bill 91

Governor Nathan Deal signed House Bill 91 into law on March 30, 2015.  The law contains provisions for students no longer enrolled in the school system to petition the Local Board of Education for a diploma if their sole reason for not receiving a diploma was due to not passing any part of the required graduation tests at the time of enrollment.
Formalized Cobb County School District procedures for the HB91 petition process are currently being developed and will be posted to the Cobb County School District website at www.cobbk12.org shortly.

2015-16 Course Registration

Course Registration for the 2015-2016 school year will take place Monday, March 16th through Wednesday, March 18th.  Core teachers will make recommendations for academic courses for all 9th-11th grade students.  Students, together with their parents, should review the course catalog, and choose four electives and two alternates, for a total of six.  Students should choose their alternate electives carefully as it is possible that one or more will end up on their schedule.  Registration forms will be due Thursday, March 19th.  There will be a drop/add period April 20th-April 24th, with April 24th being the final deadline to request all changes.  NO student/parent request for changes will be accepted for the 2015-2016 school year after April 24th.  Click here for a course catalog.
