As the school year comes closer to an end, we have even more special events coming up just for our seniors! Allatoona will be hosting Starlight Senior Night on May 20th, and it will take place at the Buccaneer Stadium on the field. If you have a Buc Pass, then you can get into this event for free, but if you do not own a Buc Pass, you will have to pay twenty-five dollars. You do not want to miss this night because this is where you will be receiving your senior letters! You get to read the letters at this event while also being with some of your closest friends as you start to say goodbye. Another event we have coming up is the Baccalaureate Ceremony hosted by our school PTSA. This is an optional ceremony that will take place at Cedarcrest Church on May 22nd at 3 PM. This ceremony will celebrate the achievements of our graduating class where members of the AHS Chorus and Orchestra will perform. The Cedarcrest pastor will also offer prayers and messages to our graduating class of 2022. Seniors are asked to wear their caps and gowns to this ceremony and families are invited to dress for group photos. If you would like to RSVP, there is a link on the school website under the Seniors (Class of 2022) Information tab. Under this tab you will find more information about the ceremony if you need it, and you will have to RSVP by May 13th to help aid in planning. We hope every senior enjoys their last few weeks here at Allatoona as a Buc, so take advantage of these senior events!
