Allatoona's SAT Scores Surpass State and National Averages

October 2, 2026 — Allatoona High School’s Class of 2026 has another achievement to celebrate. Allatoona students earned an average SAT score of 1098, finishing 67 points above Georgia’s average and 87 points above the national average.

The school’s average edged up from 1097 in 2025, making Allatoona one of nine Cobb high schools to improve their SAT averages.

Georgia’s average score was 1031, while the national average was 1011, out of a possible 1600 points. Allatoona’s results place its graduates above both benchmarks as they pursue opportunities beyond high school.

Allatoona students averaged 563 in evidence-based reading and writing and 535 in math, outperforming Georgia public-school averages by 38 points in reading and writing and 29 points in math, while topping the national averages by 48 and 39 points, respectively.

SAT scores can support college applications and scholarships. For students planning those next steps, the results represent one part of the academic preparation they carry with them after graduation.

Allatoona’s results come as Cobb maintained a district average of 1116. The SAT results include students expected to graduate in 2026. State and national comparisons are based on public school students in Georgia and nationwide.

Congratulations to Allatoona graduates and the teachers, counselors, and families who helped them reach this milestone and prepare for what comes next. Their success is another reminder of what makes Allatoona one of the best places to learn, grow, and succeed.
