🧶 Crafts, Crochet & Cookies

Unleash your creativity in our monthly Crafts, Crochet & Cookies Club! Designed for students with crafting or baking experience, this club dives deeper into crochet patterns, jewelry-making, creative projects, and delicious cookie recipe swaps. This is not a beginner course—come ready to create, share your skills, and learn from others!
🧵 Beginner’s Crochet Club

New to crochet or need a refresher? Join our Beginner’s Crochet Club and learn the basics—from holding yarn correctly to stitching your very first granny square. Perfect for students who want to build foundational skills in a supportive setting.
🌍 Culture Appreciation Club
Sponsor: Prof. Rodriguez
Celebrate cultures from around the world! Students will share and learn about different countries, traditions, and experiences. Club members will research cultures, introduce their own backgrounds, and complete creative projects (such as custom t-shirts) that showcase their learning.
💛 Friendship Bracelet Club
Sponsor: Professor Fenwick
Create meaningful, handmade jewelry for friends, loved ones, and community members. Students will also participate in a service project by donating bracelets to a chosen group. A bracelet-making kit is required.
🌱 Garden Club
Sponsors: Prof. Key & Prof. Laing
Get your hands in the soil! Students will learn about annual and perennial plants while participating in hands-on gardening experiences such as planting, tending, harvesting, and composting. Members will also explore environmental responsibility, teamwork, and may support community initiatives like food bank donations.

Create your own original music using YUStudio and professional studio equipment. Students will explore songwriting, recording, and music production in a collaborative environment.

Explore the art of paper through weaving, folding, collage, and papier-mâché. This hands-on club encourages creativity and craftsmanship using a variety of paper techniques.

Discover the world of beauty, nail art, skincare, makeup, and creative self-expression. Through workshops and hands-on activities, students can explore new techniques while building confidence and creativity.
💻 Technology Club – TSA
Sponsor: Prof. Gaubert
The BGMS Technology Club is part of an official Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO). Students will develop leadership skills while applying STEM and computer science concepts through hands-on innovation, design, and engineering projects. Participation in district, state, and regional competitions is encouraged but not required.
🎨 The Relaxation Club: Create, Reflect, Recharge

A safe space to slow down and recharge during the school week. Students can participate in calming and creative activities such as journaling, painting, coloring, origami, puzzles, vision boards, crafts, and more.
