September 28, 2026- The Cobb County School District and Cobb Horizon High School are proving once again that the hard work that happens every day in the classroom is preparing students for their next chapter in education and life. 

With a graduation rate of 90.9% for the class of 2026, this marks the first time ever Cobb Schools has had a graduation rate above 90%. 

This achievement comes just a year after Cobb set its previous all-time high with an 89.2% graduation rate from the class of 2025. It's a reflection of district leadership, teachers, staff, students, and families always striving to improve, even when achieving what hasn't been done before.

At Cobb Horizon, 63.3% of seniors earned their diplomas, up a full 8.2% from last year. 

This improvement from 2024 to 2025 represents the largest increase in graduation rates among all high schools in Cobb. This improvement is a major reason the district broke its own record yet again!

They are one of nine schools in Cobb to have improved their graduation rate by at least 1 percentage point.

The 63.3% graduation rate reflects students who spent at least one day at Cobb Horizon. When a student spent all four years at the school, they graduated 100% of the time.
