We are currently missing Safe Rider Forms for a number of our bus riders. To help ensure accurate transportation information and the safety of all students, we ask that you complete the Safe Rider Form online as soon as possible.If you have not yet submitted a Safe Rider Form for your child, please complete it at your earliest convenience.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and for helping us keep our students safe during transportation.★ HOW DO I REGISTER MY BUS RIDER?Step 1: Download Edulog and create your account:· Open the app and create an account (or sign in if you already have one)· Verify your email/phone number if prompted· In the menu/settings area, select Transportation (or Bus Information)· Choose Add Student (or Link Student)· Enter your student's information exactly as it appears in school records (ex: student ID and/or date of birth, depending on which is expected)· Confirm the student profile, then allow notifications so you can receive important transportation updates· Repeat these steps for each student you'd like to addStep 2: Fill out the Safe Rider Form:· Use this link above to enter the SRP page· Sign in using your Edulog Parent Portal credentials· Enter your student's district ID and select “Look up student”· Confirm your selected student's name, school, and district ID are accurate and select “Continue”· Read and understand the Safe Rider Program, check the confirmation box, and select “Continue”· If your student is 8 or under, complete the Release Consent and then select “Review & Submit”· Review the details and select “Submit Consent”514 Glover Street · Marietta, GA 30060Is your student doing a Fun Club?

Membership is now open! Join the PTA, it helps with so many school activities and it is only $10. Our first event is August’s DONUTS W/ GROWNUPS! Details will be sent to members. This is a PTA only event and you must be a PTA member to attend. This is the only PTA members only event. Dear Dowell Families,We’ve had another wonderful week at Dowell! Our students are settling into their routines, building relationships, and already making a positive IMPACT throughout our school.Attention All AFTERNOON Carpool FamiliesBeginning this week, students in PreK (not SNPK), Bridge, and Integrated classes—along with their siblings—will be picked up at the Bus Port. (Check your child's back-pack for the Dolphin Access car tag.)Families participating in this new pickup process shouldnter through the BUSES ONLY entrance no earlier than 2:30 p.m.Thank you for following these procedures and helping us provide a safe and efficient dismissal.Open House – Thursday, August 20We look forward to welcoming our families to Open House!During Open House, you will visit your child’s homeroom classroom and learn about classroom routines, expectations, grading procedures, upcoming events, and the standards your child will study during the first quarter.Help Us Tell Dowell’s StoryParents and guardians are encouraged to complete the Cognia Parent Survey.The Cognia surveys collect information about academic learning, student wellness, and the school environment.
