September 28, 2026- The Cobb County School District and Harrison High School are proving once again that the hard work that happens every day in the classroom is preparing students for their next chapter in education and life. 

With a graduation rate of 90.9% for the class of 2026, this marks the first time ever that Cobb Schools has had a graduation rate higher than 90%. 

This achievement comes just a year after Cobb set its previous all-time high with an 89.2% graduation rate from the class of 2025. It's a reflection of district leadership, teachers, staff, students, and families always striving to improve, even when achieving things that haven't been done before.

At Harrison, 98.9% of seniors earned their diplomas, up 1.1% from last year's impressive 97.8%. With this achievement, Harrison owns the highest graduation rate of any high school in Cobb.

They are one of nine schools in Cobb to have improved their graduation rate by at least 1 percentage point.

Harrison is also one of the 13 Cobb High Schools that eclipsed a 90% graduation rate in 2026, which tops last year's 10 schools with the same achievement. 

The 98.9% graduation rate reflects students who spent at least one day at Harrison. When a student spent all four years at the school, they graduated 99.5% of the time.
