Hello, Harrison Family!

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year! As I begin my third year as principal of Harrison High School, I continue to feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve this outstanding school community. Each new school year brings fresh opportunities for growth, achievement, and lasting memories, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish together.

Although I now proudly call Harrison home, my roots run deep in the North Cobb community. I attended Baker Elementary, JJ Daniel Middle School, and North Cobb High School. Even then, Harrison was known as the "new school across town," and over the years I had the opportunity to compete against Harrison as both a student-athlete and later as a coach. Those experiences gave me a firsthand appreciation for the pride, tradition, and excellence that have long defined Harrison High School.

Today, I am honored to lead a school with such a strong reputation for academic excellence, student involvement, and community support. Our mission of Helping Our Youth Achieve Success continues to guide every decision we make as we prepare students not only for graduation, but for success in college, careers, and life. The partnerships among our students, staff, families, and community are what make Harrison truly exceptional.

This year marks 35 years of Harrison High School serving our community. Since opening its doors in 1991, Harrison has established a tradition of excellence through outstanding academics, championship athletics, award-winning fine arts, and meaningful opportunities for students to grow as leaders. As we celebrate this milestone, we will continue honoring those traditions while embracing new opportunities that will help move Harrison forward for generations to come.

My journey in education began at Wheeler High School, where I taught special education before joining the Physical Education department and serving as department chair. During my time there, I also coached several sports, including leading both the softball and baseball programs as head coach. After nine years at Wheeler, I entered school administration, serving at Walton High School and Kell High School before returning to Harrison as an assistant principal. After one year in that role, I was honored to be named principal in the spring of 2024, and it continues to be a privilege to serve this incredible community.

Outside of school, my wife and I enjoy spending time with our three children—Ellie, Grace, and Bennett. Our family is deeply invested in Harrison, and you'll continue to see us cheering on our Hoyas at athletic events, performances, and school activities throughout the year.

Thank you for the trust you place in our faculty and staff and for the continued support you show our students. Together, we will build upon Harrison's legacy of excellence while creating new opportunities for every Hoya to thrive. I can't wait to see all that we accomplish together during the 2026–2027 school year.
