Andrew began his teaching career in 2012 at Paulding County High School, then taught English at McEachern High School in 2014. In 2017, he moved abroad to teach in Caracas, Venezuela, and in 2019 to Doha, Qatar. He and his wife, Kaitlin, later settled in Cobb County when he joined the Harrison High School English department in 2023. In total, Andrew has been in education for 14 years on 3 different continents. He has served as Special Education Teacher, Humanities Teacher, IB Theory of Knowledge Teacher, English Teacher, Department Chair, Assistant Baseball, Softball, and Basketball Coach, Department Head, and Dean of Students.
Andrew is a Cobb County School graduate of Campbell High School in Smyrna. He attended Reinhardt University for his undergraduate degree and Georgia State University for his master’s degree. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in education at the American College of Education.
Andrew and his wife, Kaitlin, have three kids: Cora (6), Quinn (4), and Leo (1). He is excited to continue to serve the Hoya community for the 2026-2027 school year.
