Dear Kincaid Community,
We look forward to welcoming our Cougars and their families for an exciting start to the 2026–2027 school year. Thank you for partnering with us as we prepare for another fantastic year at Kincaid! This year, Kincaid's Meet & Greet and Open House will take place on the same day — now Cougar Kick-Off Day on Friday, July 31, 2026!
The first portion of the event will be our Meet & Greet, providing students and families with an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, and make those important first connections before the school year begins.
At the conclusion of Meet & Greet, students will have time to reconnect and catch up with friends in the gym, while parents and guardians remain for Open House sessions. During this time, teachers will share important information about classroom expectations, communication, curriculum, and grade-level experiences for the year ahead.
Please note, this is not a drop in event and teachers will only be available during the assigned Cougar Kick-Off Day times. If you cannot make your time, we will see you on the first day of school, August 3!
Between sessions, we encourage families to stop by the cafeteria and library, where you can learn more about:
- Spirit wear
- Bus routes and transportation information
- The school clinic
- Clubs and extracurricular opportunities
- PTA and volunteer information
- And much more!
