PrincipalDr. Derrick Bailey is a passionate and dedicated educator who serves as Principal of Lovinggood Middle School. With a deep belief that every student carries a unique spark, Dr. Bailey is committed to creating an environment where potential is nurtured. He strongly feels when students are given meaningful opportunities and genuine encouragement, they can shine in ways that reflect their strengths and talents.

With more than 15 years in education, Ms. Bosarge is committed to fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed. Dedicated to building strong relationships with students, staff, and families, she believes that collaboration, communication, and high expectations are the foundation of academic and personal growth. Through servant leadership and a focus on continuous improvement, Ms. Bosarge works alongside teachers to support effective instructional practices while promoting a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school culture. Passionate about the middle school years, she is committed to empowering students to develop confidence, resilience, and the skills needed for lifelong success.
With over 20 years of experience in education, Mrs. Julkes serves as Assistant Principal, dedicated to cultivating a positive school culture and empowering students to reach their fullest potential. Guided by the belief that influence leads to impact, she works to foster the success of all students by supporting the communication and implementation of the school’s vision. Mrs. Julkes is a strong proponent of Restorative Practices, facilitating Restorative Circles that nurture relationship-building, problem-solving, and personal responsibility. An advocate for collaboration, she engages all stakeholders to ensure every student is supported academically, socially, and emotionally.
