McEachern Celebrates SAT Score Growth!

October 7, 2026 — McEachern High School’s Class of 2026 posted a 13-point gain on the SAT, raising the school’s average from 990 in 2025 to 1003 this year.
For graduates applying to college and seeking certain scholarships, SAT scores can help demonstrate academic preparation. For students planning those next steps, the results represent one part of the academic preparation they carry with them after graduation.
McEachern also saw 26 more students take the SAT than the previous year. McEachern was one of the 10 Cobb high schools to increase or maintain its average compared with 2025.
Across Cobb, eight schools exceeded 1100, and ten maintained or increased their averages.
Congratulations to McEachern graduates and the teachers, counselors, and families who supported their preparation and helped them take the next step toward their goals.
