Students in grades 6-8 will be assessed with Georgia Milestones Assessment System End of Grade (EOG) assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics, and students in grade eight will also be assessed in Science and Social Studies. Students taking Algebra will also take the Algebra EOC. These assessments measure how well students have mastered the state-adopted content standards. Cobb County teachers and students have been working all year to ensure that students are prepared to take these assessments.

*Students who are absent on testing days WILL be required to make-up missed tests.
*Cell phones, smart watches, smart glasses, earbuds/headphones, or any other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing environment. All electronics need to be stored in the student's locker or left at home.
Students will use their CCSD laptop to take the Georgia Milestones EOG/EOC assessments. Students will leave their laptop and charger at school to prepare for testing on the dates below. If your student has lost their charger, a link to purchase a replacement charger is provided on the Palmer Middle School website under the Resources tab.

Please remind your student of the importance of doing their best on each section of the test and ensure your child reports promptly to school on the scheduled test days. Test scores will be available on CTLS Parent as soon as they are received.
