Three Cobb Schools listed as America’s Healthiest Schools

December 8, 2025 — The Alliance for a Healthier Generation once again recognized Cobb Schools as a place where families have access to some of the best resources in the country.
Griffin Middle School, Murdock Elementary School, and Palmer Middle School earned the title of America’s Healthiest Schools for 2025.
Only nine schools in Georgia received that recognition, and Cobb Schools had the most of any district in the state.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our staff, students, and families to create an environment where every child can thrive physically, emotionally, and academically,” said Physical Education Teacher Dr. Adam Mullis, from Griffin Middle School.
These rankings factored in everything from the nutrition available to students at lunch and the learning environment to staff well-being, health education, and family and community engagement.
“We believe healthy students are better learners,” said Mullis.
