AC Criteria for the 2022-2023 School Year at Timber Ridge
4th and 5th Grade Reading/ELA
Students must have a qualifying score/rating in all 3 areas of motivation, ability, and achievement:
Motivation (Teacher rating of meets or does not meet) | Strong reader. Completes all assigned work for reading and language arts. | |
Ability
| 85-99th %ile Verbal age percentile on most recent CogAT | |
Achievement (must fall into one of the 2 categories) | 90-99th %ile on Total Reading on most recent IOWA | 80-89th %ile on Total Reading on most recent IOWA AND Distinguished learner designation on Milestones in English Language Arts |
4th and 5th Grade Math
Students must have a qualifying score/rating in all 3 areas of motivation, ability, and achievement:
