General Information

General Cancellation Policy

  • You may receive a partial refund if you email our AP coordinator, Mrs. Ann Nemeck (ann.nemeck@cobbk12.org) or Mrs. Amanda Brown (amanda.brown@cobbk12.org) to cancel your exam by May 1, 2026.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Partial Refund - A $42 College Board cancellation fee per exam will not be refunded                                                                                                                    ***Cancellation Waiver Policy: If you wish to cancel a free exam (exam fees waived using the GA STEM waiver or the Free/Reduced Lunch waiver), you will be charged a $42 non-show fee per waived exam that must be paid before the end of the school year or before you can walk at graduation if you are a senior. 


Device/Digital Requirements

The following requirements are mandatory for you to bring for AP testing. If you are not prepared with these, you may forfeit your opportunity to participate in your AP exam(s).

  • Fully updated and fully charged Cobb County school laptop 
  •  Latest updated version of the Bluebook application downloaded onto your school laptop
  • Your memorized log in information for your College Board account
    • No password managers or written password information will be allowed on the day of testing


Absent/No-Show Policy

  • If you do not show up for your exam, you will forfeit all payment for that exam.

***NEW ABSENCE POLICY: If you are absent due to being sick, a doctor's excuse on official letterhead must be provided via email by 6 PM on the same day as the missed exam to be permitted to take the late exam.

***No-Show Waiver Policy: If you are a no-show for a free exam (exam fees waived using the GA STEM waiver or the Free/Reduced Lunch waiver), you will be charged a $42 non-show fee per waived exam that must be paid before the end of the school year or before you can walk at graduation if you are a senior.
