Mentorship Description:

This course is designed to provide the student with skills required for successful performance in an administrative support position. The course will include training and work based experience in a school office environment. The student reports to a designated school coordinator and is supervised by designated teacher.

Criteria for Mentorship:

  • Open to Juniors and Seniors ONLY
  • Students must be on track for graduation
  • Minimum GPA of 2.50 
  • Completed application form with two teacher/staff recommendations (at least one academic)
  • Parental approval
  • Good attendance, minimal tardies, good discipline record
  • May earn up to two units as a mentor
  • Minimum day, apprenticeship, internship and co-op students will not be considered for Mentorship in the same semester.  
  • Meet deadline for application process (Friday, March 1st, 2024)
  • Student selection based on need/availability

For the 2024-2025 school year, the Mentorship Application is digital.  If you would like to apply, there are several elements that will need to be completed by Friday, March 1, 2024 (priority deadline):

  • Have your parent or guardian indicate that they approve of Mentorship as one of your classes by filling out the survey located at this Parent Consent LINK.
