Virtual Job Fair

Almost 98% of employees in the Cobb County School District have already re-upped their contracts for the next school year, and school principals are preparing to finalize their team of educators.

This year, the Cobb County School District is hosting a Virtual Teacher Job Fair on Microsoft Teams March 23 – 25. The 3-day job fair will provide school principals flexible scheduling options for both group and 1:1 sessions with potential candidates.

Candidate registration opens March 8 for those interested in serving as educators in Cobb Schools.

“We have a strong team of educators committed to the success of our students. Forbes Magazine continues to rank Cobb as a ‘Best Place to Work,’ and the vast majority of staff continue to recommit to our team early every year,” said Cobb Schools Superintendent Chris Ragsdale. “Our job fairs give us the opportunity to further strengthen our team. Because we were once again one of the first Districts to send out teacher contracts, we have been able to identify future needs early, which will help us fill the positions with top candidates. Together we will build on our vision of One Team, One Goal: Student Success.”

To prepare for the job fair, prospective candidates should complete the Cobb County School district application.

Beyond the upcoming virtual job fairs for educators, the District is always hiring bus drivers. The pay starts at $17.50 and paid training is available. Thanks to the split shift, the position is great for entrepreneurs, college students, parents, and retirees. If you connect well with children and are interested in joining the Cobb team as a bus driver, learn more and apply at www.ccsdbusdriver.com.
