Tommy Nobis Center seeks Juniors and Seniors for its Student Advisory Board

Tommy Nobis Center is proud to announce the return of our Student Advisory Board as it enters its fourth year of empowering student leaders across Metro Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for your juniors and seniors to take part in a volunteer program that fosters leadership, philanthropy, and service to their community. Students will engage in impactful service work and contribute diverse perspectives that will help change community mindsets about people with disabilities. They will also learn how to celebrate and champion the individual abilities of their peers with disabilities.
Over one semester, your students will receive the following benefits:
- Opportunities to strengthen leadership, project coordination, and communication skills
- Eligibility to be selected for one of three college scholarships
- Earned volunteer service hours
- Hands-on exposure to nonprofit management and fundraising
Applications are OPEN and accepted through September 5th. All high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply and will be carefully considered for Board participation.
