Congratulations to Lassiter's own Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, Joannah Mackenny, for being named All-Region Coach of the Year for Region 7. The Lassiter Girls team locked in the #1 spot in the region which automatically qualifies them for state. They will take on the winner of Blessed Trinity and Roswell on Tuesday, February 13, at 4pm at Pope High School in the region tournament. 

The Lassiter Boys team finished 3rd in the region and will play against Blessed Trinity on Saturday, February 10 at 4:30pm at Pope High School. 

Many players on both the boys and girls varsity teams were also recognized with all-region honors.
