On Friday, January 16, 2026, Lassiter’s Black Student Alliance (BSA) brought together students and staff to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Through reflection and creativity, the school community honored Dr. King’s enduring message of hope, equality, and justice. As part of the celebration, students spent the day writing and sharing their own dreams in commemoration of Dr. King’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech.
