9th Grade Parent Night

Freshmen Parents are invited to join the Lassiter School Counselors in the Concert Hall for a presentation on the transition to both High School and Lassiter. We will discuss people to know, promotion/graduation requirements, different GPA types, what colleges are looking for and the tools for success in high school and beyond. We are excited to welcome you and your students to Lassiter!
12th Grade Parent Night

Senior Parents are invited to join the Lassiter School Counselors in the Concert Hall for a presentation focusing on how to set your student up for success during their senior year and beyond. We will discuss how to narrow down your student’s college/program list, the application process, Naviance, HOPE Scholarship and Financial Aid opportunities along with other important and exciting Senior things!
Academic Letter Ceremony

Invited students and their parents join us for a presentation as we recognize 10th-12th grade students who earned both a 4.0 weighted GPA during the Fall of 2025 and Spring of 2026 semesters.
Financial Aid Night
Tuesday, September 29 | 6pm | Lassiter Concert Hall
All junior and senior parents are invited to attend an informative session on financial aid, including federal and state programs as well as the FAFSA application process. The presentation will be led by a representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission and will provide valuable guidance as families prepare for the college planning process.
Schedule for Success: Honors and AP Explored

Rising 9th Grade Parents are invited to come and learn about course offerings and honors expectations from the experts- subject area teachers! The goal of the evening is to help parents understand the importance of a challenging schedule and get questions answered to help prepare for the student’s upcoming high school registration.
Dual Enrollment Night

Dual Enrollment Night is mandatory for parents and students if student is wanting to participate in Dual Enrollment for the 2027-28 school year (rising juniors and seniors). Learn about the pros and cons and the logistics associated with Dual Enrollment.

Rising 9th Grade Night

Rising 9th Grade Parents and Students are invited for this drop in event. Join us to get a preview into life at Lassiter and learn about the various opportunities for involvement. Student representatives from clubs, sports, and academic will be spread throughout the school with displays and information.
