Vision
Our vision is that all students will be life-long learners who are equipped with R.E.A.L. Mustang respect, effort, attitude, and leadership potential to meet the challenges of school and beyond. With a balance of academic, career and social/emotional support, our students will become individuals who are well-equipped to participate in and contribute to society.
Cobb County School District has rolled out a new system-wide bullying prevention program for elementary schools called “Stop, Walk, and Talk.” You students are learning how and when to use the Murdock school-wide stop signal (shown above). The overall concept is that if someone is interacting with them in a negative way and they want the other person to stop the behavior, they use the stop signal. If the negative behavior continues, the next steps are to walk away and then tell an adult if they need more help. Ask your child what they learned!
As always, thank you for your partnership in maintaining a safe learning environment for our students!
