Sprayberry's ACT Success!

October 27, 2026 — Sprayberry High School’s Class of 2026 has another achievement to celebrate. Students earned ACT scores that exceeded both state and national averages.

Sprayberry students earned an average ACT composite score of 21.0 out of 36 possible points, topping Georgia’s average by 0.1 point and the national average by 1.8 points. Their performance contributed to the Cobb Schools districtwide average composite score of 23.0.

The school’s ACT performance provides another opportunity to highlight student preparation for college, careers, and life after graduation.

The school's success follows another strong performance on the SAT, where Sprayberry students also soared past state and national averages. The Yellow Jackets' success extends beyond test scores, with the school's graduation rate rising to 92.6%, helping Cobb Schools achieve a record-breaking districtwide rate of 90.9%.

Together, these achievements reflect the commitment of Sprayberry and Cobb Schools to preparing students for success in the classroom and beyond.
