August 26, 2026 — Sprayberry High School ranks in the top 100 best public high schools in Georgia for 2026-27, according to the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings. The latest ranking reinforces Sprayberry's place among Cobb’s top high schools. Sprayberry is one of the 11 Cobb high schools to achieve the top-100 state ranking.

When looking at schools just in the metro Atlanta area, Sprayberry moves up the ranking to 62nd. Sprayberry is one of 11 Cobb Schools ranked among the top 100 high schools in Georgia.

These rankings are calculated based on college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, graduation rate, college curriculum breadth, and performance among underserved students.  

Sprayberry’s recognition extends beyond Georgia, with the school also earning a strong national ranking.

Among more than 27,000 public high schools evaluated nationwide, Sprayberry ranks in the top 11% of public high schools nationwide. 

The latest state and national rankings reflect Sprayberry's strong academic record, including the school's role in helping Cobb achieve its record-breaking graduation rate. That is more proof of the high level of achievement families can expect at Sprayberry and across Cobb Schools.
