National Signing Day Success Again for Cobb Athletes

February 4, 2026 — Cobb student-athletes continue to stack up accolades as another National Signing Day (NSD) arrived. Schools across the district held NSD ceremonies on Wednesday, with dozens of athletes officially putting pen to paper and committing to compete at the collegiate level.
Sprayberry High School led the way with 14 signees across football (5), baseball (3), basketball (1), softball (3), and soccer (1). The Yellow Jackets also celebrated a historic moment as Mikyla Wilson became the school’s first flag football athlete to secure a college commitment. Wilson will continue her career at Alabama State University.
Kell High School recognized nine student-athlete signings, while McEachern High School and Walton High School each celebrated seven.
Congratulations to all our Cobb Schools athletes preparing to take the next step in their athletic and academic journeys at the collegiate level!
